1977 run Sunset Models imported model built by Samhongsa in Korea. Box shows minimal shelf wear. Original red foam included. Spare parts included. Model pro painted by Don J Worth - excellent work! Noted author and modeler Joe G. Collias and Do J. Worth modified this example to represent Mopac's road number 1717. Modifications included added piping and doghouse to tender, modified plumping throughout the locomotive, and other road number specific details. Our shop also serviced the locomotive, cleaning out and replacing the old gearbox grease and installing a new drive tube. It has been finished with a coal load in the tender, lenses in the lights, glazing in the windows, and a light weathering treatment. This head turning model is ready for years of service on your layout!
