An evolution of The Dalmore house style, this 18 year old expression takes on bolder notes becoming a robust and formidable whisky. The Dalmore 18 showcases the result of extended maturation The spirit is initially matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon casks, yielding soft vanilla and honey notes. For its final maturation, the whisky is transferred into casks which have held 30-Year Old Matusalem Oloroso Sherry. These casks are exclusively provided to The Dalmore from the renowned Gonzalez Byass bodega and give the whisky its rich, deep chocolate character.
