Knappogue Castle 12 Year Old Barolo Cask Finish

The Knappogue Castle Cask Finish Series is a range of single malts finished in the finest wine casks. The Marchesi di Barolo limited release is matured in bourbon barrels for a minimum of 12 years, then further aged in casks from the renowned Barolo Winery. Made exclusively from malted barley, distilled in copper pot stills, this expression is non-chilled filtered and bottled at 92 proof. Nose: Fruity with aromas of strawberries, cinnamon buns, banana fritters and caramel toffees. Taste: A great mix of spice and fruit characters. Red apples, berry fruit and red cherries. Finish: Hints of peppery oak leads to a spicy finish.
