Umbrella Tree

Native to tropical areas in Australia and New Guinea, the Umbrella Tree name is given to a wide variety of schlefferas. Most branches will grow 5-7 leaves that hang like their own mini umbrella!Schefflera are fast growing, woody stemmed tropical plants with a number of species commonly found in the houseplant hobby. They are known for their palmate leaves which come in a variety of sizes, and which can grow densely on branches. They are a fairly typical tropical plant, enjoying a moderate watering after they have almost but not totally dried out. They enjoy strong indirect light and maybe some eastern direct sun.
