Midnight Falling

Beautiful oil painting on canvas 12"x12" The Falling Star collection really helped me find my voice and style. I love combining realism, abstract and fantasy when creating nature paintings.  The falling star look happened on accident. I made a mistake while painting stars and instead of wiping them off and starting again, I decided to use the same technique I use for my northern lights. The effect is something I've only seen editing apps do and I was in love. Now I can't wait to continue using this technique in future paintings. Thank you for following along on my exploration of the art world, mediums and techniques. It has been a wonderful journey. Please allow 1-2 weeks for each piece to properly dry and for varnish to be added. We want to make sure they live a long life.
