"Red Pop" - Print

Red Pop is a bright, yet warm, summer field full of poppy flowers over rolling hills. This loose impressionistic style allows the viewer to let their eyes add details and perceive the scene themselves. The light blue sky and clouds adds depth to the landscape and contrasts with the vibrant red flowers. Much of this was painted with large paintbrushes and pallets knifes and some of the paint of the poppy pedals were applied with the back of a spoon creating a thick rich impasto effect.
