When most beads are considered to be neutrally buoyant, that generally refers to the bead itself.  This is the case with the neutrally buoyant Mercurial Beads. These beads are different.  The balanced buoyancy is a floating bead finely tuned to achieve neutral buoyancy with the recommended hook size.
