These teeth were found off the coast of South Carolina and are mostly greyish-black in color. We have several of these teeth available. The extinct mako shark is scientifically named Isurus Hastalis (or is sometimes classified under Cosmopolitodus Hastalis). The tooth you'll receive will resemble the teeth shown in the pictures, but it will not be identical. Relative dating has been used to date these to the late eocene - early pleistocene eras. These teeth measure between 1 3/4 inches to a little over 2 inches long.
