Sumakha

What fresh fantasy is Sumakha? A Satsuma hatpin in fine antique condition, circa 1890, repurposed into an uplifting amulet.  To strike a balance between the whimsy of hand-painted porcelain and the ease of wearability, Sumakha is built with hand-carved Whitby jet and black leather, encased in sterling silver. Japanese Satsuma ware was featured in the Paris Exhibition of 1867.
