Topo Ring ~ Sterling Silver ~ Turquoise ~ Wide Band ~ Size 8/8.25

The Topo Ring. This is a big ole' gorgeous slice of green turquoise. This is an old stock piece, so the original mine isn't known. It's striking, though, in earthy greens with a hint of teal and black matrix. The stone is wrapped in a tall, sterling bezel.  Forged from sterling silver reclaimed from the early 1800's. I left the metal purposefully rough to add a bit of character. The band is beefy and wide. Hand-forged and heavily textured.  It's a nice mix, with a little weight and heft to the band and a clean stone setting. It was constructed using rough, heavily textured reclaimed metal oxidized to make the details pop. Measurements: The face of the ring measures 11/4'' x 1'' Multidome wide band, 3/8'' wide at the base.
