The 3" drop pitman arm is the one we use in our 6.5" and 8.5" XJ kits, and is the one we recommend for our or any 6" or taller XJ or YJ lift.This Drop Pitman Arm gives a total of 6.25" of drop. As a vehicle is lifted, the increased distance between the axles and the frame causes the steering linkage operating angle to change. Once the vehicle is lifted past a certain point, the steering linkage angle must be adjusted (corrected) in order to work properly.
