Cartier Santos Carrée Or Massif 18k ref.2960 from 1979

  In 1978, Cartier redesigned and renamed the Santos de Cartier, giving the watch an integrated bracelet instead of the traditional leather strap. Cartier made the case and bracelet out of stainless steel, a real game changer for the House that had only worked with precious metals before this time, later on Cartier also introduced the Santos in 18k gold and named it "Or Massif" which translates to Solid Gold in French. This beautiful model is one of the most wearable and fashionable watches ever made, it wears nicely with a pair of jeans but also with a dress shirt and dinner jacket so there are basically no rules to wear this iconic chunk of gold.
