Rolex Turn-O-Graph ref.116264 de 2005
"The Turn-O-Graph, when originally launched by Rolex in 1953, was revolutionary in all aspects of watchmaking and watch design history. Its main feature, a rotating bezel, was undoubtedly a disruptive innovation that created an entirely new market. With its truly useful function, the Turn-O-Graph was soon chosen by the Thunderbirds, the elite US aerobatic squadron, to assist in the navigation calculations of their pilots. Discontinued for several years, Rolex reintroduced the Turn-O-Graph in the early 2000s. Here is the modern version of the "Thunderbird", the Datejust Turn-O-Graph 116264. The 36mm stainless steel Oyster case is topped with the famous white gold bezel of the Datejust, but this time crafted with minute markers like a Submariner. The dial comes to life with the red seconds hand, red date wheel, and red "TURN-O-GRAPH" label. The modern Turn-O-Graph was finally discontinued in 2011, marking the end of a historically significant Rolex watch. Brand: Rolex Model: Datejust T
