ABOUT Late 19th century ornamented swivel top piano stool with four-legged base comprised of ornamental twisted wire. The highly ornate central axis features a rope pattern motif with a beaded border. The round stool swivel seat is made of solid oak wood retaining the original stained finish. CREATOR Tonk Mfg. Co., Chicago, IL. DATE OF MANUFACTURE c.1890-1910. MATERIALS & TECHNIQUES Steel, Walnut. CONDITION Good. Wear consistent with age and use. Slight wobble when fully extended. Best at 19 in. height.
