The top flag features the kanji 愛 (Ai), meaning “love.” The print is rendered in rich, vibrant colors that create a striking contrast. The limited edition number “311” references the date of the devastating 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami (March 11, 2011). Through this work, the artist expresses a heartfelt message of hope—that with love and unity, we can overcome even the greatest disasters.
