Still tipped to original presentation folder. Beautifully embossed. Strong colors. This print shows a young woman in the Meiji Era. She is biting the sleeve of Kimono. When a young woman is shy, the woman shows this gesture. This is a typical gesture of a young Japanese woman in those days. You can see this gesture often in Japanese traditional dance.
