Beautiful woodblock print "Nikko Shinkyo no yuki" (Snow at Shinkyo Bridge in Nikko) is by Hasui Kawase (1883-1957). Excellent shading throughout with light embossing. First printed in 1930 originally by Kawaguchi & Sakai; this is a later printing by Shobisha from original blocks. Shobisha obtained the original blocks in about 1950. Signed Hasui with red artist seal "sui" on the lower right corner of the image. Bottom margin contains title "Nikko Shinkyo no yuki" (Snow at Shinkyo Bridge in Nikko)  and "Showa 5 nen saku"(printed in 1930) in Japanese.
