During the New Kingdom, a frog was sometimes used to signify 'repeating life,' a term used after the name of the deceased that represented the promise of rebirth.   Condition: Intact and in very good overall condition. Pierced for attachment.   Dimensions: Length: 0.78 inches (2 cm).   Provenance: Acquired in 1998 from the London trade, subsequently forming a private NY collection.
