The rust-colored limestone vessel with a cylindrical body that tapers to the flat round base from wide shoulders sloping up to the sharply everted rim and wide lip, traces of drilling visible on the interior. Dimensions: Height 3.5 inches (8.9 cm) Condition: Two small original pieces reattached to the lip and three small lip rim chips, base rim flake, three very tight hairlines from the lip to the middle of the body.  A lovely example. Provenance: ex. Hoffman collection, NYC, (1890s - 1950s), acquired before 1939.
