A lovely triangular-shaped bright orange carnelian stone set in a gold cap with a braided border and suspension loop on top. Dimensions: Pendant length: 3/4 inch (2 cm). Strung on a 19-inch 14K gold chain. Condition: Minor chips from ancient wear that does not detract, otherwise intact and in very good condition overall. Provenance: The Bactria Corp., NYC, 1960s-1970s, to Edward H. Merrin Gallery, NYC. 1970s, thereafter private NYC collection.
