A Ticket to Ride

I can't explain it very well, but I'm intrigued by people waiting around for the bus. Or a train. Whatever. People momentarily united in a common purpose, but off to vastly different destinations.  I caught this moment during an exceptionally soggy fall evening in New York City. I was instantly smitten by the contrasts, colors, and angles. And as someone who grew up saturated in the Beatles courtesy of one of my older brothers, this title was the only possible name.   There was an initial study for this painting, too.
