Longboard Vineyards Mavericks Chrome Cabernet Sauvignon 2021, Alexander Valley

Cabernet that garnered a loyal following delivers again in a great Vintage.  Violet color. Aromas and flavors of chocolate sauce, baked red fruit and black fruit preserves, chocolate covered orange peel, and cinnamon with a round, lively, dryish medium-full body and a peppery, interesting, medium-long finish with notes of vanilla, chocolate covered cherries, and mocha and espresso bean with coating, grippy, well-integrated, medium tannins and moderate oak flavor. Rich and decadent now with potential to shine when it opens up with some decanting or years in cellar.
