Welcome to Sea Green Mermaid! For sale is a large Australian Koroit boulder opal pendant in sterling silver. The opal was mined in the Koroit opal fields in Queensland, Australia. Each Koroit opal is characterized by a unique and intricate web of colorful veins that run through its dark stone matrix (or boulder). This large, flat, oval opal has chocolate brown matrix with myriad tiny, thread-like veins that form a spiderweb of opalescent color and fire over the entire surface of the gemstone. Please view the video to see the play of color in this lovely ring.  The veins of opalescence flash with purple, teal, lime green, peacock blue, and sky blue fire.  The opal is secure in a hand-crafted silver bezel setting, and framed in a halo of silver with a twisted rope design. The back of the pendant is solid sterling silver. The pendant has an attached bail to accommodate your chain.
