10k Gold Australian Koroit Boulder Opal Ring. **VIDEO**

For sale is an Australian Koroit boulder opal ring in 10k yellow gold.  The opal was mined in the Koroit opal fields in Queensland, Australia.  Each Koroit opal is characterized by a unique and intricate web of colorful veins that run through its matrix.  This opal is a large oval, with chocolate brown matrix (or boulder).  The brown matrix has an unusual and lovely pattern of colorful veins.  Please view the video to see the play of color in this lovely ring.  The veins of opalescence flash with peacock blue, cherry red, tangerine, lime and purple fire.  The pattern reminds me of a prehistoric trilobite fossil.   The opal is secure in a hand-crafted bezel.  The jeweler has decorated the mounting with gold Bali beads and a gold halo.
