The music had everything you wanted from that era perfectly packed in. Absolutely crushing breakdowns, thrash riffs, ripping solos and Matt’s vocals and lyrics were the glue that held it all together. Not to mention all those iconic samples sprinkled in to keep things interesting. Killwhitneydead sounded like nobody and nobody sounded like Killwhitneydead. Living in NC, I was lucky enough to catch them play a few times back in the day and kwd shows were always a good time. The energy they brought in those tiny venues would make for some of the best shows I’ve been to even today.
