Seed Count: Approx. 15 seeds Days to Maturity: 65 Days Description:  Lemon cucumbers are a cute heirloom variety that produces tennis ball sized, round cucumbers with a thin, tender, lemon colored skin.  Its cool, crisp flesh is lime green, sweet, and never bitter, with a mild cucumber taste.  It's excellent for slicing, and even come in a single serving size.  Lemon cucumbers are ideal for adding to salads, pickling, or just eating straight off the vine.  This variety is a vigorous producer, and grows on an equally vigorous vine, so growing them vertically would be beneficial to save space.  Make sure you keep them picked though, because if you allow the cukes to mature on the vine, it'll stop producing fruit.  This variety is great to grow in cooler climates, but it can be grown in anywhere.
