Once pre-order is closed, these earrings will no longer be available for purchase! Organic oval dangles in a checkered pattern. Checkers are orange and light orange.(go vols!) Think orange peel and creamsicle colors :)  Made with polymer clay, gold plated brass jump rings, and hypoallergenic stainless steel stud posts. Named after Sylvia Rivera, a Venezuelan-Puerto Rican trans woman who pioneered LGBTQ+ activism. Alongside Marsha P. Johnson, she created the STAR (Street Transvestite Action Revolutionaries) organization, which provided a home for homeless trans people in New York in the 1970s. Sylvia’s Place and the Sylvia Rivera Law Project continue to honor her legacy by working towards LGBTQ+ rights.
