If you are looking for a lighter cinnamon fragrance but with all the same benefits as the bark oil, cinnamon leaf oil (Cinnamomum) may be the one for you. Just like the cinnamon bark essential oil, this also has antiseptic, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory properties. However, many prefer this oil for facial and body uses due to its lighter scent. Mix it with a carrier oil to create a warming massage oil for joint relief, menstrual cramps, and healthy digestion. Apply it to your sore muscles and aching joints to give them a warming comfort, especially in the winter months. Use a few drops when cooking and have it spice up your meal while adding fiber and stimulating digestion.  Add a drop or two in a glass of purified water, and gargle with it. For people with dentures, simply make a solution of water, hydrogen peroxide, and the oil, then soak your dentures in it. Make a scrub with a carrier oil and use it on your lips to keep them healthy and moist during the drier months. Steam
