Aqua Silver & White Chevron Set of 2 Lidded Nesting Storage Baskets

This beautiful set of 2 aqua, silver, and white chevron storage baskets are handcrafted by a network of more than 100 rural Wolof women in Senegal, West Africa. Highly durable, the colorful baskets nest together and come in two functional sizes: Large: 18 inches in diameter x 12 inches high with the lid Small: 14 inches in diameter x 10 inches high with the lid The baskets feature flat lids, braided pull handles, and geometric pattern. Woven from a local grass called typha (cattails) and strips of plastic. The plastic strips are from recycled old prayer mats or purchased new from a mat factory in Dakar.Since every piece is handmade, the baskets you receive may vary slightly from those pictured. An informational hang tag is attached for gift giving.
