Château Haut-Colombier, Bordeaux Rouge, Blaye, Côtes de Bordeaux, France 2020

This Château Haut-Colombier is composed of 59% Merlot, 28% Malbec, 13% Cabernet Franc. Château Haut-Colombier is elegant with fruity nose, vanilla and toasted oak aromatics. Rich and smooth on the palate with red and black bery fruit flavors from ultra-ripe Merlot, silky tannins and a long finish. This wine can be consumed today or aged for five more years. Château Haut-Colombier has been practicing organic farming for over a decade. The wine is aged for six months in French oak barrels, 1/3rd of which are new barrels.
