Day 106 • The 11th of October

🌄 Day 106/365 Ahhh. I finally got a good night’s sleep. I relish insomnia free moments (they’re rare) because I enjoy the sunrise a lot more when I’m not dead tired. As I approach a third of the way through this project, I remember this point being the most daunting during my last year long (moon-based) project. I’ve formed good habits around it, I have my artistic process down, and I willingly obey my alarm when it goes off. I love peeking out my bedroom window to see what kind of sunrise I’m in for. I can start to tell what the result is going to be before I even get outside. But most of the project is left. Twice what I’ve completed so far. It feels overwhelming but I’m also truly excited to capture 200+ more sunrises for my collection. Sometimes I’m blown away at my own project (perhaps one of the greatest feelings as an artist.)
