Ling Gui Zhu Gan Tang 苓桂朮甘湯

Hoelen & Atractylodes Combination (dampness-draining formula) EFFECTS: fortifying  the spleen  and  draining  dampness;  warm-resolving  phlegm-retained fluid. INDICATION: phlegm-retained fluid due to deficiency of the middle yang; fullness in the chest and hypochondrium; dizziness and palpitation; cough induced by shortness of breath; white slippery  fur;  string-like slippery pulse. CLINICAL REFERENCE: water poisoning of deficiency type- dizziness; palpitation and hyperactivity; headache; inhibited urination; cold feet; chronic nephritis; edema; renal atrophy; renal hypertension; neurasthenia; hysteria.
