Tian Wang Bu Xin Dan 天王補心丹

Ginseng & Zizyphus Formula (tranquilzing formula) EFFECTS: enriching yin and nourishing blood; tonifying the heart to tranquilize. INDICATION: overthinking; disquieted spirit and will; dry throat and mouth; forgetfulness and fearful throbbing; insomnia; dream emission ; oral and lingual sore; dry stool; red tongue with scant fur ; fine rapid pulse. CLINICAL REFERENCE: This formula is often used in treating tonifying the heart to tranquilize; nourishing blood to tranquilize. It is effective in treating neurasthenia, palpitation, heart disease, arrythmias, hyperthyroidism, menopausal syndrome, insomnia, dream  emission, profuse dreaming and night sweating, forgetfulness, and disquieted heart-spirit. For severe palpitations, couple with Licorice Combination(Zhi Gan Cao Tang).
