Faceted Garnet Ring

This ring was designed and handmade in our home studio just outside of Seattle, WA. Each ring starts with a silver band and high quality gemstones that are electroformed for hours to create a durable bond between stone and metal elements. It is then sent out to be further plated in silver resulting in an heirloom quality piece that can be enjoyed for years to come with proper care. This ring features three beautiful, natural garnet stones that are expertly cut to showcase their mesmerizing color and brilliance. Garnet is often found in rocks that have been subjected to high temperatures and pressures, such as metamorphic rocks like schist and gneiss. It can also form in igneous rocks, like granite and basalt, and sometimes in sedimentary rocks like sandstone. The specific conditions under which garnet forms depend on several factors, including the composition of the parent rock, the temperature and pressure of the environment, and the length of time the rock has been subjected to these
