He might not be the most handsome guy at the dance, but I guarantee you he's the strongest - weighing in at a full 2.2 pounds.   This nugget is more than 5 inches long and features many angular facets, as well as the conchoidal fracture for which elite shungite is so well known. One side has a prominent rust and white colored mineral layer - probably where the elite layer was butted up against an adjacent rock layer in the deposit. I would just rest the nugget on this side.
