ʻAlula Lawaʻikai Button Up Aloha Shirt- Butterscotch

This button up aloha shirt features our ʻĀlula Lawaʻikai print on Butterscotch material with Olive and White ink.  ʻAlula Lawaʻikai A friend from elementary school caught up with us recently and invited us to a special place on the island of Kauaʻi. It was there, at Lāwaʻikai, that he introduced us to ʻĀlula, a plant that was considered extinct until about fifteen years ago.  Since then there has been a huge resurgence of this native. Found originally on the fringes of Kauaʻi's northern Nā Pali coast, ʻĀlula is now found in many backyards!  I gave this name in recognition of the place where Lorrin Manoʻi introduced us to ʻĀlula. Inspired by the ivy-league shirts of the early 1900s, the fabric designs are pure Hawai‘i, and the look is pleasingly fresh. The Button Up is an open front, tapered shirt with a full length placket. Coconut buttons are featured on the stand-up, button-down collar and on the front placket. Tuck it in or leave it out over the trousers for a more casual look. Eith
