Spiegelau, Dogfish Head and Sierra Nevada joined forces to develop the inaugural glass tailored for American-style IPA beer. Through multiple design and sensory workshops evaluating hundreds of iterations, the brewers elected, anonymously, one glass-- number 6-- from the ultimate 8 prototypes. These glasses maximize the aroma of hop-forward IPAs, while preserving a head and optimizing flavor and mouthfeel. A broad opening allows for savoring each sip, while the glass is dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning.
