
Modern & Alternative Chains with Suzanne Williams: October 11-13
Come join us in this 3-day workshop where we will delve into creating modern unconventional, alternative, and freeform sterling silver chains for necklaces and bracelets. The first day you'll create three-inch samples of four different types of links from which infinite variations can be made. Then on the second day, you'll select one type of chain and make a bracelet. At the end of the weekend, not only will you have a unique sterling silver bracelet, your creativity will be sparked, and you won't think of chain-making the same way ever again! We will cover: Link styles Links that can double-up as clasps How to incorporate working with silver scrap Working with different styles of wire: round, square, and rectangular Finishing recommendations Details: Saturday, Sunday, & Monday, October 11, 12, & 13 from 9:00-5:00 each day.
