Textured Earrings Tween Workshop (grades 6-8). October 20 from 3:30-5:00

Create your own unique copper, brass, or silver earrings with different kinds of texturing hammers!  At the end of class, you will have completed 1 pair of copper or brass earrings with sterling silver ear-wire.   We will cover: Metal selection Design strategy Proper hammering techniques to create unique metal textures Stamping Techniques Proper use of pliers to connect ear-wire Details: Monday, October 20 from 3:30-5:00 at Silver Peak Jewelry Arts, 100 E. Cleveland St. Lafayette, CO 1.5 contact hours, participants must be in grades 6, 7, or 8 # students: 3 minimum, 6 maximum Registration fee includes materials to make 1 pair of copper or brass earrings with sterling silver ear-wire.
