Torch-Fired Tuesdays: Enameling - July 9

New for July is our Torch-Fired Tuesday series of mini-workshops!  In this first of three classes, you will learn the method of fusing powdered glass to metal without a kiln to create your own enameled jewelry. Enameling is one of the few ways to apply color to metal and create beautifully complex designs.  At the end of class, you will have completed a pair of earrings, two pendants, or one pendant and one keychain.  We will cover: Selection of type of metal and enamels Cleaning metal for application How to apply enamels Torch use Clean-up of metal Details: 2 contact hours, ages 14+ Tuesday, July 9: daytime session is 10:00-12:00 or evening session is 6:30-8:30 p.m.  Silver Peak Studio Classroom located at 100.5 E.
