First Day of 1st Grade Flip Flap Book® | Distance Learning

This unit is completed on the First Day of School AND/OR on the Last Day of School. Your students will engage in different writing prompts within an adorable word flip flap book® that spells out F-I-R-S-T. They will adhere their work to a 12 x 15 piece of construction paper. The front of the poster will say "First Day of First Grade" then when you flip up the poster to the next piece of 12 x 15 construction paper it will say "Last Day of First Grade!" Each page of the F-I-R-S-T Grade Flip Flap book® has a writing prompt. On the "I" - On the first day of first grade, I felt... On the "R" - What do you think first grade is going to be like? On the "S" - You are going to be learning so many new things in First Grade. What are you most excited about learning? On the "T" - This page allows you to add a 4x6 vertical picture of each child on the first day of school. They also will write about something they learned on the first day of school and complete the sentence starter "I think First
