
Fall 6-Week Hand-Building Pottery I: Pinch & Slab Building
Perfect for beginners, this course introduces foundational hand-building techniques using pinch and slab methods. Over six weeks, students will create two functional ceramic pieces—one using the pinch pot technique and another using slab construction. Learn about clay properties, surface decoration, and basic glazing techniques. No prior experience is needed—just bring your creativity! Classes are kept small to allow each student to receive individual attention. Each class is 2 hours long. This is a short intensive so it is imperative that attend all classes. There is one opportunity for a make-up per 6 week session. Details Our Hand-building classes run for 6 weeks.
