Foursquare Rum Distillery Magisterium Single Blended Rum

A remarkable blend of three distinct 16-Year-Old Single Blended Rums, crafted at Foursquare Distillery using both the copper Double-Retort Pot Still and the Continuous Twin Column Coffey Still. Two of the rums underwent double maturation: one aged 3 years in ex-bourbon casks and then 13 years in ex-Oloroso sherry barrels; the other aged 9 years in ex-bourbon, followed by 7 years in ex-Oloroso sherry. The final rum spent its entire 16 years in ex-bourbon casks. All aging, blending, and bottling take place on-site at Foursquare in Barbados, with this expression bottled at 58% ABV (116 Proof). Tasting Notes Initial Impressions: Elegant and rich with a soft yet complex full palate and a lingering, enticing finish. Aroma: Caramelized orange peel, unlit Maduro cigar, toasted coconut, passionfruit, candied almonds and hazelnuts, nougat, with hints of cedar, sea breeze, and bell pepper. Palate: Soft and elegant with mid-draw cigar notes, rich across the palate with hazelnut, dark cocoa, or
