 Skim-A-Round is designed to increase surface water velocity by 30% compared to your current surface water velocity.  If your current surface water velocity is insufficient, a 30% increase may not be enough for optimal pool cleaning.  The Low-Flow Accelerator add-on will increase your current surface water velocity by 60%, which is ideal for pools starting with a lower velocity.
