General: The Kinetic Systems Vibraplane Platform (model 2210-01-13) is one serious isolation platform. Using the included pump you can suspend the base from its resting surface and create a substantial cushion from vibrations. It's also super heavy (probably around 75 pounds) to help with this.  The previous owner of this platform said that when using this base, his records wouldn't skip even when stomping in front of his component rack. Note: One of the control valves on this unit is damaged, but it doesn't seem to affect its performance. It is perfect for Turntables, CD transports, players, or any component that needs stability.
