Introducing Konami Code! Like many of you, gaming was an influential part of my childhood. Galaga in the arcade, Super Mario on the NES, Crazy Taxi on the Sega Dreamcast, as well as Goldeneye and Starfox on the N64 were staples for my brother and me growing up. Weekend sleepovers with neighborhood kids playing split-screen and organizing LAN parties with friends are some of my most cherished memories. I don't get nearly as much time to pick up the controller as I used to, but gaming has always been a part of my life, which is why I wanted to do a gaming-themed glass. However, I had trouble deciding on a design. I wanted it to be timeliness, and I didn't want it to focus only on one game, system, or genre. After hours of thinking about it, I eventually landed on the Komani Code.Sure it originated with Gradius and Contra on the NES, but now it's become a pop-culture icon of its own.
