A fragrance made out of a single element called Cetalox. Usually used in perfumery as a base note, Cetalox takes the lead in this minimalist scent. Otherwise known as ambroxan, Cetalox compiles a variety of effects into one tight, near invisible, neat package. Imparting the warmth of ambergris, Cetalox lacks the animalism of this inspiring note, but maintains the saline, sea-fresh edge that amber can lend. It also has a distinctly metallic, nose-tingling tang, as if we are smelling spring for the first time, a pollen rich dew that slips and slides off of a corrugated steel. This wet, metallic aspect also puts one in mind of wet stones; in the case of Cetalox the soft, dewy aspect of wet stones is slightly less plush, and more sparkling and mineralic.
