Winter Traditions Foundation Paper Pieced Quilt Pattern by Judy Niemeyer of Quiltworx

Winter Traditions is a foundation paper pieced pattern that finishes at 74 inches square. Judy and Brad Niemeyer designed the layout, instructions, and foundation papers for Winter Traditions in 2017 from a collection of 16 inch mixer blocks designed for foundation paper piecing. The first block is a unique design of a Snowflake designed by Quiltworx over 7 years ago. The second block is a traditional compass block that they recreated for foundation paper piecing. The third block is a 16 inch traditional feathered star block. All three blocks are fun and interesting to assemble. A collection of fabrics called Bohemian Blues designed by Judy and Judel Niemeyer with Timeless Treasures were selected to make the sample shown on the cover. Foundation paper piecing is used to assemble the units required to make this quilt. This pattern is Quiltster compatible, which means you can color the quilt with your favorite fabric collection in Quiltster before you make it. That will also give you th
