Kilauea Lighthouse - Historic Lighthouse in Hawaii The Kilauea Lighthouse is located in Cape Kilauea on Kauai, Hawaii, within the Cape Kilauea National Wildlife Refuge. The 52-foot-tall Daniel K. Inouye Kīlauea Point Lighthouse on the northernmost tip of Kauai was built in 1913 as a lighthouse for sailing ships.
