After the upper back is completed, the fronts are picked up from the upper back’s cast-on edge and knit down. The body is joined in the round after the underarms, and the rest of the body is knit with some shaping. At the bottom of the waist, you can decide between adding a ribbed edging and binding off for the cropped length or adding hip shaping and more stockinette for the full length.
